Popular messaging processor Telegram has announced new features. According to the latest developments, Telegram now allows up to 1000 people to join a group video call and allow users to send video messages. The Telegram reported that it wants to increase this limit until all humans on Earth join a group call. Thus, the company has allowed about 1000 participants to join the video call, while 30 users are transmitting video from their camera and screen. This feature is especially useful for online lectures, seminars and online concerts with multiple participants.

Video news

Telegram has updated its video messaging feature. Telegram says this is a quick way to explore or share your surroundings without adding another video to the video gallery. You can send it to your contacts by tapping the register button in your chat box. The video will not be stored in your gallery.
To record a video message, tap the microphone icon in the message bar to switch from recording voice message to video. Hold down the record and then tap the camera icon to switch. Audio will play from your device as you record, so you can sing your favorite songs or respond to podcasts without pausing. Additionally, recording with your rear camera can enlarge and capture remote objects or add dramatic effects (strange music is not included), ”the Telegram blog said.

Video playback speed

You can now change the playback speed of videos sent to you by telegram. The current media player supports 0.5x, 1.5x and 2x playback speeds. So it can quickly forward calls or watch videos in slow motion.

To change the speed of video playback, tap three dots on Android or three dots on iOS while watching video in full screen. Android users can press and hold the 2X button while playing voice or video messages to switch to 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x and 2x playback speeds.

Telegram allows users to share screenshots with each other on their devices while broadcasting any video call. So if you watch a movie, you can share your screen and watch the movie with your friend.

"When you turn on the video on any call, you can swipe to pick up the camera or share your screen - and use the video preview to make sure everything is OK before it goes live," the Telegram blog said.
